1st Welbourn 10k August 2009

2009 Review Notes  

Thank you to everyone who ran and walked in 2009. We have noted all you comments, and thank you for them all, we have adjusted several things for 2010

The course will be a new multi terrain route.

There will be Pub Drinks Vouchers again.

We will have K markers (we did not have enough posts in 2009),

Finish area will be vastly improved.

More timing people.

Fun Run starting before main race at 10:30,

Main race start 11:00 with Walkers at the rear of field.

As we will have the village hall in 2010 all parking, toilets, changing, EOD (Limited numbers for 10k run), No bag dump as not required but we will have a Car Key dump, Number collection etc... will be in one place just 1 min from the start.

The Finish will be on Castle Field just 20 yards from the village hall.

In 2009 the races were run under the Sleaford Town Runners Banner, from 2010 Toonie Express will be taking these events forward.

Thanks to the help of Welbourn Villagers we were able to produce a good race and to donate the following...

All 13 children pictured are members of the school running club.

We are very pleased that they are growing the next generation of runners (and fit adults) and look forward to staging a schools challenge in 2010 and welcome input from other schools.
