Toonie Express

 

We would like to thank all the staff of Woodys, all 18 of our Marshals and the 102 Runners that entered this new trail 10k race. We have had lots of really good feedback from everyone and with just a few adjustments and improvements we will be running this race again next year.

In short: Lovely summer evening race and well organised.

In short: Most enjoyable
In full: A pleasant setting for the start and finish and a good mix of terrain for the race itself. I found the hill hard going but then there was a decent down hill stretch not too long after the 4 mile mark.Well organised and friendly.
In short: A fun event in every way.
In full: A very good mid week event. After running countless Half Marathons and a Marathon this was my first ever 10k race. Trail running isn't for me but this race was good fun and i will definatly do it again. The course wasn't fast but it was fun. I could of got a bit rough if it had rained though.
Hopefully this race will be on next year as well.

In full: I really enjoyed this run, differing terrain throughout run, glorious views, good weather and good to see an evening 10KM race in lincolnshire.
The mug was a nice touch, not a PB race but definatly worth other runners giving it a go.

Thanks everyone! I love the "Sneaky Hill" you can see it from the start! it's more of a Party Political Broadcast than Sneaky, we are very pleased that everyone enjoyed it and that they are all coming back in 2011

We will improve the race and Woodys will have plenty of cold beer for the party afterwards.
